It is so hot…..I prefare to eat something raw. Today I want to share with you this fresh and juicy recipe. This fruit and vegetables salad is very nice to serve in a hot summer day. And with its colours, it brings to the table a little bit more of happiness and joy. 🙂
Millet…someone think it’s animal feed 🙂  and when I say that I cook it, sometimes people get very surprised. In my son’s school, the wonderful cook prepare it in a very tasty way: children call it “Exqueezy” (a funny way to say exquisite). With this recipe I mix it together with other ingredients to prepare vegetarian croquettes. With a fresh summer salad becomes a really special dish to serve.
When the days get very hot during the summer, I usually cook in the coolest hours, dishes that I can serve cold for lunch or dinner. Today I suggest you this nice match, which I decided to call “Tao” rice, consisting of two varieties of rice: the semi-whole Balilla and the Black Venere. Summer is coming and we start to enjoy the first fruits of this season; the great heat, unfortunately, sometimes forces us to consume them in a hurry so they do not risk to become too much mature with no longer pleasant to enjoy fresh.
